Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • ½ cup spicy pizza sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup spicy pepperoni or hot Italian sausage
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) for a crispy crust.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Spread the spicy pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top of the sauce.
  • Add spicy pepperoni, jalapeños, red pepper flakes, and smoked paprika for maximum heat.
  • Drizzle olive oil around the edges of the dough to enhance the crispiness of the crust.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

  • Remove from oven, let cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve!

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by increasing or reducing chili flakes, jalapeños, or hot sauce.
  • Balance the heat with a drizzle of hot honey or a side of ranch dressing.
  • For a spicy vegetarian pizza, swap pepperoni for roasted bell peppers or spicy tofu.

  • Best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
