Lobster Tail

Lobster Tail (3)

A rich and buttery lobster tail recipe that’s simple to make yet tastes like a gourmet seafood dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails (about 5 oz each)
  • 4 oz unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  •  Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat a grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Use kitchen shears to cut through the top shell of the lobster tail, stopping at the base. Gently pull the shell apart and lift the meat out, resting it on top.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne (if using), and lemon juice.
  4. Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or grill for about 5-6 minutes per side until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly firm.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh lobster tails if possible. If using frozen, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight. Do not overcook, as lobster meat becomes tough when overdone.
